Myrna Caddell

LILLINGTON - Myrna Faye Caddell, 83, formerly of Angier, passed away in the morning hours of Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Green Leaf Care Center.

She was born in Wake County on October 1, 1941, the daughter of Jesse Caddell and Velma Coats Caddell, both of whom have preceded her in death. Myrna grew up on the family farm where she enjoyed the Carolina sun while working alongside her father in the tobacco fields and tending to the livestock. She also enjoyed her chores and the quality time spent with her mother inside the family home.

Myrna saw the world through simple eyes and met all who passed by with a smile. She greeted her family members with a hug, a kiss, and a "honey, shug." She loved music, especially any tune being played on a piano. Myrna also had an affinity for watches, particularly "Mickey Mouse" watches. She never refused a donation, which she would excitedly spend for a treat out of the vending machines at Green Leaf. She was truly a happy soul and will be dearly missed by those who had the joy of knowing her.

Myrna is survived by a host of cousins, extended family, and friends from Green Leaf Care Center.

A private graveside service will be held at Angier Memorial Cemetery.
