Milton Earl Bailey

Garner - Milton Earl Bailey, 81, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025 surrounded by family.

Graduate of Goldsboro High, he had numerous communication jobs around the world. He was retired from Edstrom Industries of Wisconsin and was an active member of Southern Cruisers Riding Club 5 Points and Greater Light Baptist Church in Lillington.

Milton resided in Garner and was known for always being willing to help anyone, anywhere, any time. His quirky sense of humor kept us laughing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by both brothers, Lester and Danny Bailey and stepson, Daniel Bray.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Bray Bailey of Garner; son, Earl Bailey (Kim) of Angier; and daughter, Beth Glover (Ashley) of Raleigh; three grandsons, Christian Harrell of Garner, Nathan Bailey (Mylanie) of Four Oaks and Ben Bailey of Angier; and two nieces, Dina (Mike) Anderson of Oak Island and Vanessa (Jay) DuBois of Cypress, TX.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th at 11:00 AM at Benson Grove Baptist Church, 6966 NC-50, Angier, NC 27501. A visitation will take place prior to the service, from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM. A private graveside service in Goldsboro will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Lung Association.
