Mike "Pa" Smith

ANGIER – Mike “Pa” Smith, 77, passed away on Thursday at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. Born in Harnett County to the late Prentiss Allie Smith and Lorena Rambaut Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

Mike is survived by his wife of 56 years, Blanche Smith; daughter, Michelle Jones of Duncan; son, Roger “Keith” Smith and wife, Terri of Angier; sisters, Polly Godwin of Charlotte and Peggy Spencer and husband, Bill of Smithfield; grandchildren, Michael Jones, Joshua Jones, Hope Jones, Christopher Smith, Rebecca Temple; step-grandchildren, Brittany Sorenth, Stephan “Steve” Arnold; great-grandchildren, Abel Jones, Noah Jones, Lucas Jones, Isabell Temple, Delilah Temple, and Parker Jones; step great-grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Kaleb, Grayson, and Hadley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Smith, Ray Smith, Gene Smith, Fred Smith; step-granddaughter, Christina Durham; and a son-in-law, Randy Jones.
