Michael Marks

Michael James Marks age 56 of Angier died December 9, 2025, in his sister's home in Raleigh after a battle with cancer.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents James and Betsy Marks also from Angier.

Micheal worked for Outside Matters for many years driving dump trucks and operating big machinery. A job that he truly enjoyed and took pride in his work.

Michael leaves behind his loyal side kick Chico, a loving pit bull with a loud bark and a big heart. They as a team have survived many ups and downs and were best of buddies.

Michael also leaves behind a brother Jerry Marks (Tammy) of Angier, a sister Lynette Wilder (Bryan) of Raleigh, two nephews James Senter (Leah) of Angier, Zachary Marks of Angier. One niece Danielle Steele (Aaron) of Angier, one great nephew Xavier Senter, four great nieces Audriana Steele, Ellabelle Steele, Oaklyn Steele, and Eden Senter.

Michael's words of advice is "don't stop loving and trusting others just because some people have done you wrong. Let Jesus help you to forgive and love".

At Michael's request there will be no services.
