Maverine Baker
Maverine Clifton Baker, 87, passed away on December 11, 2025 at Rex Hospital. She was born on January 20, 1938 in Johnston County to the late Ulas Calvin Clifton and Laura Viola King.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy C Baker; brothers, Raymond G. Clifton and Leamon E. Clifton; nephew, Tony Creech; nieces, Kelly Narron and Tammy Denning.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Baker, Sr.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18, at 1:00 PM, at The Way Church in Garner, NC. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh, NC.
