Mary Matthews Huff

Willow Spring - Mary Matthews Huff, age 93, of 7836 Huff Farm Rd., Willow Spring, NC, went to be with the Lord on Friday. She died peacefully at Rex Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mary was the daughter of the late Bright and Lillie Hall Matthews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, John Garland Huff. For 40 years, she was a faithful member of Hilltop Church. She was affectionately known to everyone as Grandma Huff. She truly loved her Lord Jesus and could always be heard saying her favorite words, I Love You. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Hilltop Church, 10212 Fayetteville Rd., Fuquay-Varina NC 27526. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina. She is survived by sons, Jerry Huff and wife, Ann, Larry Huff and wife, Brenda, Billy Huff and wife, Donna; daughters, Sue Carroll and husband, Steve, Lou Green and husband, Len; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-9 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
