Mary Lois Bland

Lois H. Bland, 84, went home to be with her Lord Friday Sept. 12, 2014. After Lois retired from K-Mart as a bookkeeper, she worked for Lawndale Manor as assistant Activities director. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday at Garner Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jesse and Caddie Boyd Hollowell, husband, John Bland; daughter, Peggy Strother; 3- sisters and 1-brother and a great-granddaughter.Survivors include daughters; Judy Watson Soles and husband Harold, Cynthia Johnson and husband Phillip; son, John M. Bland, Jr. six grandchildren , ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Family will receive friends and relatives Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
