Mary H. Penny
Raleigh – Mary H. Penny, 84, passed away on Friday at her home. A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Howard and Annie Turner Howard.
Mary’s family will receive friends on Monday, November 25th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26th at Mt. Zion GMC Cemetery, 15772 NC Hwy 50 N. Garner, NC 27529.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Maria Penny Hansen (Steve) of Fuquay-Varina; son, Vernon Belvin Penny, Jr. (Kelly) of Raleigh; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Howard (Diana) of Garner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon Penny; and a sister, Minnie Lee Pantages.
