Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Bulluck Carter left this world on February 5th, 2026.
Beth was born on November, 24th 1946, in Edgecombe County. From the beginning, Beth was known for her kind heart and deep devotion to those she loved. After graduating from high school, Beth attended East Carolina College, where she met her husband, Don, in the Library. Their meeting marked the beginning of a lifelong relationship built on love, laughter, and mutual respect.
Beth worked as an administrative assistant for several years before retiring in 1998. Outside of work, Beth found joy in reading, traveling the world, and most of all, in spoiling her family. She loved girls' trips with family and friends, whether to the salon, the mountains, or the mall. She gave love, fully and freely, always putting others before herself. Beth's love was felt deeply by those who knew her and was cherished in return.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.R. and Lulu Mae; her siblings, Ann, Billy, and Peggy; and her youngest son, Joey. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Don; her eldest son, Lane; her beloved granddaughters, Kamiel and Lauren; and her great-grandpuppies, Roxy and Brody. She also leaves behind her nephews, Will, Jon Caleb, Robert, and Sam; her nieces, Mary Beth, Sandy, Kassi, Melissa, Michelle, and Ronnie; and their children and grandchildren, all of whom will remember her for her generous heart and the enduring love she shared throughout her life.
In her later years, Beth bravely faced Alzheimer's disease with grace and dignity, surrounded by the constant love and support of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association to support research and care for those affected by this disease.
