Mary Ann Thrower

Mary Ann Womble Thrower, 73, died Friday. After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Mom has gone home to be with Jesus. A memorial service will be held Sunday, 4:00 pm at New Hope Alliance Church, 2642 Old Fairground Rd. Angier, NC 27501. Family and friends are invited to a pot luck dinner at the church, following the service. Survivors include her daughter, Judy M. Thrower; son, Walt Thrower and wife, Susan, all of Willow Spring, NC; sisters, Jean Bennett and Nancy Womble of Nashville, NC and brother, Jack Womble and wife, Brenda of Chesterfield, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
