Marlene Elizabeth Blythe Henderson

Marlene Blythe Henderson, 74, died Wednesday at the Dunlap Hospice Center in Raleigh, NC. She retired from the Department of Social Services. She was a devoted volunteer through different ministries. Marlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. A private graveside service will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, M. Charles Henderson; son, Charles Todd Henderson and fiancée, Jenessa Mitchell; daughter, Elizabeth Renee Daniel and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Blake and Blythe Daniel; brother, Jim Earl Blythe and wife Sue and family; sisters-in-law, Betty Blythe Dukes and family, and Deborah Henderson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ervin (Ike) Blythe.
