Raleigh - Marie Schafer, 91 of Frankfurt, Germany passed away after a brief illness. Marie retired as a nurse after many years of service. There will be a Memorial Service Sunday January 22, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Raleigh. Family will receive friends after the service. Marie is survived by her daughter, Elke Kent, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and other extended family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Maries memory to the Catholic Charities 3000 Highwoods Blvd. Ste. 128 Raleigh, NC 27604.
