Marie Rafferty

Garner - Marie Rafferty (nee Mannino) of Garner, NC, formerly of Nesconset, NY passed away peacefully on 10/25/18 of pancreatic cancer. Marie was the true matriarch of her family. She was exceptionally proud of her family, her true pride and joy; her husband Robert of 53+ years; children Dawn (Clint) Smith, Stacy (Keven) Ringgold, and Robert (Kimberly); grandchildren Cooper and Sydney Smith, Meaghan Bates, Kyler and Brogan Ringgold, Braeden, Colin, and Declan Rafferty. She was a loving sister to Phyllis (Joe) Talenti, and Dennis (Helene) Mannino and loving Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Marie was the epitome of a true friend, which was evident in the close and supportive friends who will deeply miss her near and far. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemtery, Raleigh. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
