Margie Hinson

Margie Hinson, 78, passed away Dec. 24, 2018 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. A native of Johnston Co. she was the daughter of the late James and Ruby Holt. Margie spent her career as a hairdresser. Graveside service will be at 2:30 PM Sat. Dec. 29, 2018 at Oakland Cemetery in Smithfield. Along with her parents Margie was preceded in death by a sister; Patricia Carol Scott and a brother, William Aaron Holt. Surviving are her daughters; Bobbie Hardison, Deanna Mills and Elaine Elliott; sisters, Gail Hilliard and Brenda Ward; brother, James Holt, Sr.; eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, Sat. Dec. 29 prior to the graveside from 1 – 2 PM.
