Marc Scott Cutler

September 12, 1965 — August 17, 2025

RALEIGH – It is with the deepest of sadness that the family of Marc Scott Cutler, devoted husband, father, and acupuncturist, announces his passing away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

For many years, Marc faced significant health challenges with grace, dignity, and a kindness that never wavered. At his core, Marc was a healer. He dedicated more than 30 years to the practice of acupuncture through his clinic, Advanced Healthcare Solutions, where he helped thousands of patients find relief from pain, navigate chronic illness, conceive a long-desired child, and uncover solutions to various health mysteries. His gift for healing touched countless lives, and the world of natural healthcare shines a little less brightly without him.

Beyond his work, Marc’s greatest joy was his family. He shared his life with his beloved wife of 20 years, Sharon. Sharon has always felt lucky enough to be able to say that she married her best friend. Together, they raised two sons, Noah and Max, who were the light of his life. Marc cherished time spent with them — whether listening intently to their stories, watching their adventures, or simply kicking a soccer ball in the yard. In his final days, Marc found joy in attending a Grateful Dead cover band concert with Noah, a trip to the beach, and treasured moments with his family.

Marc lived with a deep sense of purpose — helping others, loving his family and friends, and moving through life with kindness. His passing leaves an indelible mark, and he will be profoundly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his sons, Noah and Max; parents, Dennis and Arlene Cutler; brothers, Seth Cutler and wife, Janice, Jason Cutler and wife, Sarah; his nieces, Mackenzie, Erin, Samantha, and Sydney; and a wide circle of family, friends, and patients whose lives are forever changed by his care and compassion.
