Malvina Guinazu

August 1, 1932 — July 16, 2025

Malvina Asunta Sabbatini Guinazu, 92, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, following a period of declining health. She was born in Mendoza, Argentina on August 01, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Alejandro Sabbatini and Augusta Nerpiti.

Malvina was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Early in her life she met and married her great love and best friend, Henry Guinazu, spending 58 memorable years together. Together they raised two sons that Malvina loved very dearly. The thing she was most fond of was her family, her love and commitment to them was something to admire and was reflected in all that she did. She will be missed greatly and will forever be remembered by her family and friends as a woman of great compassion and strength. She was also a retired postal worker.

In addition to her parents, Malvina is preceded in death by her brother, Lino Sabbatini.

Malvina is survived by her loving husband, Henry Guinazu; sons, Gary Guinazu (Tina Guinazu) and Bryant Guinazu (Mara Zotta); sister, Elena Nazzarro; grandchildren, Alexis Schmitt (Nickalus Schmitt), Marcos Guinazu, and Julia Guinazu; great grandchildren, Graham Schmitt, and Nixon Schmitt; many nieces and nephews back home in Argentina; and lastly by her beloved furbaby Roxy.

Malvina will be laid to rest at Montlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum during a private family committal service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Malvina's memory to the Wake County Animal Shelter.
