Lucy Jordan

Clayton - Lucy Ray Jordan passed away on Monday. A native of Wake County, she was born to Hershel and Lettie Inscore Ray.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 25 at 3:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. A visitation will take place an hour prior to the service, from 2:00 - 2:45 PM.

Lucy is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Kelly of Four Oaks; sons, Danny Chatham (Tammy) of Four Oaks and Bobby Chatham, Jr. (Vonda) of Willow Spring; sister, Pearl Grady of Troy, brothers, Paul Ray of Bentonville and Danny Ray of Garner; 7 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lucy is predeceased by her husband, Clyde Julian Jordan; son, Jay Chatham; grandson, Brandon Artrip; granddaughter, Jennifer Chatham; sisters, Diane Hamilton, Libby Caudle, Pat Sealey, Beatrice Autry, and Marie Autry; and brothers, Leroy Ray, Hershel Ray, Aaron Ray, and Otha Ray.
