Lucille Cappo DePuy

Lucille (Cappo) DePuy passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026. She lived a long and full life, filled with family, friendships, travel, and many cherished memories.

Lucille was born on December 10, 1940 to Louise (Fusaro) and Marino Cappo. She grew up in Poughkeepsie alongside her beloved brother Val. She married Mickey DePuy, and they shared 54 years of marriage until his passing in 2015. Together, they raised four children (Micheal, Karen,Tina, Jackie). Lucille worked for many years at a local pharmacy, enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her extended family, especially her devoted brother Val and his wife Nancy. In the later years of her life, Lucille moved to North Carolina to be near her daughter Tina. She blossomed in her new home, spending time with Tina and building close friendships within her retirement community. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Mickey. While we mourn her passing, we celebrate Lucille's legacy of four children and their spouses, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law (Val and Nancy Cappo) as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. A private gathering will be held at a later date.
