Lola Stevens Self

RALEIGH – Lola Stevens Self, 80, died Tuesday. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Maggie Stevens. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Self Barton and husband, David of Wake Forest; sons,  Keith Self of Selma, Brett Self of Wilmington and Blake Self of Raleigh; sister, Peggy Adleberg of Raleigh; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby  Self; son, Dale Self; sister, Doris Harris and brother, Herbert Stevens and Charles Stevens.
