Lisa Johnson Williams

Lisa Yvette Johnson Williams, 58, of Garner, NC, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 14, 2025. She was born on May 30, 1967 to Ronnie and the late Linda Byrd Williams.

Lisa graduated from Garner Senior High School in 1985 and went on to pursue a career in interior design, a field she loved and worked in for many years. A natural caregiver, Lisa devoted herself tirelessly to caring for multiple family members, always placing others before herself. Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a loving mother and grandmother, roles she cherished deeply. Lisa had a special love for animals, especially her beloved duck, Woody, who held a unique place in her heart. She also shared a close bond with dear friends Treva Neville and Beverly Sorrell; together they enjoyed traveling and spending meaningful time together. Known for her humor and quick wit, Lisa brought laughter and light to those fortunate enough to know her.

Lisa is survived by her son, Corey Williams (Rachel Grady) and granddaughter, Charlotte; her father, Ronnie Johnson; her brother, Danny Johnson; aunts, Jean Byrd and Sue Stephenson; uncle, Craig Byrd (Sherry) and cousins, Mike Byrd (Kim) and Shawn Stephenson (Camille).

She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Byrd Johnson.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:00am at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends Friday, December 19, 2025 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home.
