Lynda Mehailescu Turner

Lynda was a gentle, loving, and giving woman whose kindness touched everyone around her. She loved her family most of all — her father, mother, sisters, and brother held a very special place in her heart. She adored her nieces and nephews, and especially her grand-niece and grand-nephews. Nothing made her smile more than holding one of those precious babies in her arms. Lynda had a heart devoted to others. She always put everyone else first, especially her husband, Mark Turner, to whom she was the most supportive wife and best friend anyone could hope for. Her life was guided by compassion — if someone had a need, she was determined to meet it. Her friends knew her as a loyal confidante, someone who could be trusted to listen, to keep their secrets, and to be there whenever they needed her. She was truly an all-around wonderful lady who will be deeply missed. Lynda also had a special love for animals — especially her dogs and any creature lucky enough to wander into her life. She found joy in music, movies, and in sharing laughter — often by playing good-natured jokes on her husband.

Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00 am at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home – Angier, 300 E. McIver Street, Angier, NC. The family will briefly speak to family and friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Lynda’s memory may make a donation to The Boys and Girls Club of Raleigh, or to a local chapter in their own community. Lynda would have loved you for it.
