Linda Wilkins Prichard

Linda Wilkins Prichard, 76, of Raleigh, NC, passed away at Lynn's Care Home on Friday, October 17, 2025 after an 8 year battle with dementia. Linda was born in Raleigh, NC on December 23, 1948 to Harold and Ann Wilkins.

Linda was known for her outgoing personality and the love of her savior Jesus Christ. She met her husband John in 1968 while employed with Booth-Jones Engineering, and they were married in 1970 in Raleigh. She was a stay at home mom when their son John, Jr. was born in Goldsboro, NC in 1974, and she returned to work with Wachovia Bank in 1990 when the family lived in Wilmington, NC. After moving back to the Raleigh area in 1992, she continued her career with the bank until her retirement in 2007. She and John enjoyed their retirement years as they were able to travel extensively to many interesting places in the world.

Linda is survived by her husband John; her son, John, Jr. (Jenny); siblings, Bonnie Radford (Mike), Hank Wilkins (Cyndee), Beth Yarborough; grandchildren, Owen Prichard, Liza Prichard; nieces, Amy Young (Marty), Laura Strickland (Daniel), Blair Yarborough; nephew, Justin Wilkins (Cindy); and a host of great nieces and nephews and one great, great nephew.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Jean Wilkins; and her nephew, Benjamin Yarborough.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 11:00 am preceded by a visitation at 10:00 am at Aversboro Road Baptist Church in Garner, NC. A family burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.
