Linda Messer Jackson

Linda Messer Jackson, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was born September 3, 1946 in Johnston County to Worth and Virgina Messer. Linda retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles after 30 yrs of service. She enjoyed trips to the beach, spending time with family and most importantly time with her grandchildren.

Linda was proceeded in death by her parents, Worth and Virgina Messer; son, Michael D. Jackson; sister, Carolyn M. Bridges and in-laws, Gershon and Arease Jackson. She is survived by her husband, of 57 years, G. Douglas Jackson; daughter, Wendy J. Denton (husband, Wesley); daughter- in- law, Tammy V. Jackson; grandchildren, Blake Denton (Fiancé Amber Franklin), Avery Denton, Lauryn Jackson and Presley Jackson; sisters, Phyliss Weathers (husband, Johnny), Terry Barbour (husband, Robert); sister- in-law, Brenda Touchon (husband Mike) and a large and loving extended family.
