Lena D. Barnes

Zebulon- Lena Demeree Barnes, 84, was called home to be with our Lord on Friday at Zebulon House Assisted Living. A Native of Masonville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Austin Saxton Demeree and Vera Mae Scott Demeree. Services will be scheduled at a later date. Survivors include her daughter, Vera Buel and husband, Don of Delhi, NY; son, Terry Lee Barnes and wife, Grace of Garner; step-grandson, Roger Stills; granddaughter, Janelle Morrell and husband, Waylon of Franklin, NY; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Lily and Flynn Morrell all of Franklin, NY; step-daughter, Jean Barnes. Lena was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, Clinton Barnes; grandson, Travis Kilmer; sisters, Lina Demeree, Vera “Jo” Hasenjager; brother, Harry Demeree; step-sons, Ronald and Richard Barnes. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you just share a simple act of kindness with another person in need.
