Larry James Champion

ANGIER -Larry James Champion, 77, passed away on Saturday at Betsy Johnson Hospital. Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late Mallie Champion and Felma Mae Champion. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 24 at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Larry is survived by his sisters, Tredonia Dupree of Angier, and Alma Jean Redd of Clayton; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Champion; sister, Vivian Stephenson; brothers, Walter Champion, Lonnie Champion, Jimmy Champion, and Bobby Champion.
