Larry Allen

Larry Wilson Allen, 73, of Fuquay-Varina went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 2, 2025. A native of Harnett County, he is the son of the late Wilson and Edith Turner Allen.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Allen; sons, Seth Allen (Shannon), Jacob Allen (Lauren), both of Greenville; daughters, Katina Shaw (Marvin) of Cary, Holly Partin of Angier, Jordan Parker (Albi) of Princeton; brothers, Steve Allen (Tricia), Glenn Allen (Joanna) both of Willow Spring; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Dylan Thacker, Trent Allen, and Laken Allen.

Larry was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. A God fearing and hardworking man who was admired by his church family. In his younger years he enjoyed playing football, baseball, basketball and running track. As he grew older the love for sports turned into watching his children and grandchildren compete. He cherished every moment spent teaching the boys the ways of working with their hands. He took up fishing at the beach with his brothers and basked in the sight of the ocean. The love for his family was immense and immeasurable.

His memorial service will be held Saturday September 6 at Church Alive, 6109 NC-55, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Steve and Tricia Allen.
