Kristopher Alan Duncan

Kristopher Alan Duncan, 36, of Wendell, North Carolina, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026.

A graveside service celebrating Kris's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A native of Randolph County, Kris was born July 24, 1990. As a child, he loved to spend time with the family sharing in the simple things-playing ball, playing video games, and watching movies together. Those quiet moments with family remained among the things he cherished throughout his life.

As he grew older, Kris developed a love for fishing, woodworking, and restoring cars. He was drawn to things that carried a story and enjoyed discovering the history and character behind them. Above all, Kris's faith in Jesus Christ became an important part of his life. His faith was a source of strength and hope, and he held firmly to the promise of eternal life through Christ.

Kris will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Those who loved him find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior.

He is survived by his mother, Alison Coble; father, Tony Duncan; sister, Amber Munley (Brian); and brother, James Duncan (Victoria).

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sondra Coble; and great-grandparents, Lera and Elwood Flowers.

Though Kris's life was far too short, his family finds comfort in the hope found in Christ and the promise of eternal life:

"And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."
