CHARLOTTE - Kevin "Kole" Eubanks, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 27, 2026.
He was born in Wake County on September 11, 1999. From a young age, Kole's bright blue eyes and contagious smile could light up any room. He was a natural athlete who seemed to thrive in every sport he tried - soccer, gymnastics, football, basketball, and tennis. No matter the field or court, he gave it his all. But it was on the baseball diamond where he truly found his passion. Baseball wasn't just a game to him it was where his competitive spirit, dedication, and love of sports came alive.
Kole earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His college years were some of his most formative, and as a devoted brother of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, he found not only camaraderie but a true brotherhood that meant so much to him.
Kole proudly served as a Talent Ambassador for the Southeast Region at Randstad, where his drive, professionalism, and natural ability to connect with people made a lasting impact.
Kole was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara Mills and William Eubanks; step-grandfather, Arlie Mills; and uncle, William "Buddy" Eubanks; and his canine companion, Zeus Eubanks.
He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Nicole Eubanks of Willow Spring; sister, Taylor Eubanks of Athens, GA; grandparents, Terry Quiniero (nana) of Willow Spring, Russell Higgins of Willow Spring; aunts and uncles, AP and Molette, Kim and Tim, and Timmy and Pauline. He leaves behind a wide circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him deeply.
In addition to his family, Kole is survived by his close-knit group of friends who were like brothers to him. He never met a stranger, only friends he hadn't made yet.
