Kathryn Matthews Dixon

Benson - Kathryn Matthews Dixon, 77, passed away Saturday. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Clyda Parrish Matthews. She was a long time member of Benson Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Orron Sam Dixon, Jr.; daughter, Ivey Dixon Green and husband, Marcus of Angier; sons, Bruce Allen Humphries, Jr. and wife, Linda of Raleigh, Terry Humphries and wife, Connie of Coats; sisters Barbra Hardee of Angier, Judy McLamb of McGees Crossroads; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Jason, Linwood, and J.C. Matthews. Family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 -9:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier
