Katherine "Katie" Sears

FUQUAY-VARINA – Katherine “Katie” Sears, 27, passed away on Tuesday at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. Born in Wake County, she is the daughter of Ruth McCollum Sears and the late Joseph Clark Sears.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her grandparents, Sue and Jerry Sears of Fuquay-Varina; step-sister, Shavonne Sears of Broadway; step-brother, Thomas Sears (Devin) of Fuquay-Varina.

Katie will be remembered for her contagious laugh and will certainly be missed by those that loved her.
