Karl Talmus Stephenson

On December 27, 2025, Karl Talmus Stephenson was called home to be with God. Karl was born in Harnett, NC on August 24, 1939, to Julian Coy Stephenson and Marvo Smith.

Karl is survived by his wife, Linda Stephenson; daughter, Kay Lee (Robbie); as well as three grandchildren, Conner Dean (Shayna), Gabrielle Tew (Tyler), and Grayson Lee (Makayla). Along with two great grandchildren, Jake and Weston.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Coy Stephenson and Marvo Smith, as well as his daughter, Karol Dean.

A funeral service will be occurring at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 6 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 before the service. He will be laid to rest at Montlawn Memorial Park.
