HOLLY SPRINGS- Julia Marie Cardenas Perez, 93, a native of Woodside, Queens, NY passed away on Friday. Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Raleigh. Burial will follow at the Fellowship Community Cemetery, Angier. Surviving is her son-in-law, George Murdock and wife, Pat of Holly Springs; grandchildren, Susan Bailey and husband, Joey of Holly Springs, John Murdock and fiancé, Kaitlyn of Orlando, FL; great-grandchildren, Emily Marie Bailey and Mia Elena Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolfo and Ellen Welsh Cardenas; husband, Jose Perez, daughter Elena Marie Murdock; sister, Norberta Cardenas. The family will receive family and friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner from 3:00–5:00 pm and 7:00–9:00 pm Sunday.
