Julia Faye Coates

RALEIGH - Julia Faye Coates, 52, passed away Thursday. A native of North Carolina, she was the daughter of Shirley Lassiter Pendley and the late Clarence Pendley. Funeral services will be Monday 2:00 pm at the Penny Road Church of the Nazarene, 8509 Penny Road, Raleigh. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 5:00-7:00 pm. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Randy L. Coates; sons, Chris Coates (Kristen) of Garner and Steven Coates (Nicole) of Bear Creek; six brothers, Odell Pendley (Marsha), Keith Pendley (Bobbie) , Tony Pendley (Margaret), Stewart Pendley, Randy Pendley (Daphne) and Phillip Pendley, Sr.; grandchildren, Jade, Elijah, Braxton, Reece and Avery and numerous nieces and nephews.
