Judith Louise Dean

Judith Louise Sykes Dean, age 73, of Fuquay-Varina, NC died on Friday, February 20, 2026 in her home. She was born on February 28, 1952 in Wake County to the late Milton Sykes and Katie Baker Walker.

She is survived by her sons, Jayson Dean (Vanessa), Jonathan Dean, and Justin Dean (Jenny); her sister, Cathy Sykes (Terry); her grandchildren, Kelliann Dean, Hartley Dean, Caden Dean, Eva Dean, Lilah Dean, Emilia Dean, Hudson Dean, Michael Ruhmel, Sophia Ruhmel, and Ashley Ruhmel; her great-children, Weston Wallace and expected twins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Jack Walker.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver Street, Angier, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 5:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
