Juanita Cyrus Mimi Atkins

Raleigh - Juanita Cyrus Mimi Atkins, 95, died Friday. Mrs. Atkins was the widow of Elmo Quincy Atkins. Surviving are: her daughter, Dianne A. Hartgrove of Youngsville; son, Kenneth M. Atkins and his wife, Glad, of Wake Forest; three grandchildren, Dee Liggins and her husband, Randy, Merritt Atkins, and Cyrus Atkins; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Hayden Liggins. Mrs. Atkins had eight siblings of whom only a brother, John Holman Cyrus of Raleigh, survives. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 PM in the sanctuary of Forest Hills Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh.
