Joyce Partin McGee, 87, of Angier, North Carolina, peacefully entered her Heavenly home on July 8, 2026.
Born on May 29, 1939, Joyce lived a life rooted in love, hard work, and faith. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon McGee, her Parents Delmas and Nolie Partin, siblings Doris Matthews, Hilda Carroll, Odell Partin and Bennie Ray Partin. She was also preceded in death by her great grandson Jack LaCaruba.
Joyce is survived by her son, Michael McGee (Kimmie); her daughters, Tammy McGee Spears, Gloria McGee Byrd (Craig). Brothers Ronnie Partin (Susan) and Hershel Partin. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Allison Vanater, Cristina Robbins (Matthew), Charles McGee, Andy White (Amanda), and Jessica LaCaruba (Tim); and her beloved great-grandchildren: Isaiah Robbins, Titus Robbins, Theodore LaCaruba, and Jerome LaCaruba.
Joyce found great joy in gardening and took pride in canning and freezing the vegetables she grew. She loved sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends. Her home was always a welcoming place filled with warmth and generosity.
She was a faithful member of Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, where she treasured her church family and found lasting friendships and encouragement throughout the years.
The family extends their sincere appreciation to the compassionate staff of Liberty Commons for the excellent care they provided. A special thank you is extended to Nurse Chassica Leach for her kindness, compassion, and exceptional care, which brought great comfort and laughter to Joyce and her loved ones.
Joyce's memory will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her. Her life was a blessing, her love a gift, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family finds comfort in knowing that Joyce is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and reunited with her beloved husband.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
