Beloved husband, father and former owner of Galata’s Restaurant in Westfield, NJ, Joseph ‘Joe’ Galata, 74, passed away Feb. 18, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Patrick and Marie Galata, he formerly lived in Westfield, NJ and Martinsville, NJ before moving to Knightdale, NC in 2014. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane, and sons Benjamin and Michael. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, Feb. 22 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh.
