Joseph Thomas "Tommy" Holloman

Joseph Thomas "Tommy" Holloman, 78, of Garner, NC, entered eternal rest with our Lord and Savior surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 12th, 2025. He was born in Trenton, NC, to the late Tillman and Ida Belle Holloman.

In addition to his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his two sons, Jason Holloman and Basher Holloman.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Frieda Britt Holloman; sons, Darren Holloman, and Jeremy Duncan (Mary); 5 grandchildren, Dustin Holloman (Verna), Autumn Duncan, Austin Duncan (Lauryn), Savanna Kelly, and Whitney Holloman; 2 great grandsons, Drake and Gunner; a much loved and anticipated great granddaughter who is expected to arrive in December; sister-in-law, Elaine Reams, who shared his political passions and lovingly cared for him at his end; nephew, Brandon Reams; and numerous cousins and life long friends.

Tommy loved his Lord, his family, his country - whom he honorably served for 5 years in the United States Air Force, his Optimist brothers, all sports in general but especially his Garner Trojan family where you would find him most Thursday and Friday nights. Tommy lived to talk and share life stories (sometimes more than once) thus he touched many lives, he will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, from 2:00 - 2:45 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm, conducted by Pastor Travis Tobin.

Tommy will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Green Family Cemetery, 2343-2469 Wyse Fork Road, Trenton, NC 28585.
