Joseph Graham Buddy Cagle, Jr.

GARNER - Joseph Graham Buddy Cagle, Jr., 68, loving husband and Pop-Pop, died Thursday. A native of Johnston County, he was the son of the late Joseph Graham Cagle and Lillie Belle Cagle. He was a 1961 graduate of Wendell High School and a 1966 graduate of Atlantic Christian College. He was the owner and CEO of J&B Sales for over 30 years and was a true salesman. He was an active member of Garner United Methodist Church and a member of the Mens Bible Class for over 45 years. A family man and friend to all, he cared for others more than himself. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Garner United Methodist Church. Buddy was a loving husband for 47 years to his beloved wife, Nancy Hickman Cagle; a loving father to his son, Joey Cagle (Bridgett) and daughter, Angela Cagle Clinard (Billy); grandchildren, Haley, Austin, Clay and Jackson, who were the sunshine of his life; sisters, Nancy C. Glover West (Otis) and Connie C. Fowler, brothers-in-law, Bud Hickman, Donnie Hickman (June) and the late Danny Hickman (Janet), as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
