Johnny Richard "Ricky" Hardee

Holly Springs – Johnny Richard “Ricky” Hardee, 78, passed away on Wednesday at Sanford Health and Rehab. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Calvin Reece Hardee, Sr., and Minnie Richardson Hardee.

Friends are invited to join the family for a gathering celebrating Ricky’s life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 22nd at Hardee Farm at Raven Rock, 521 River Rd. Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Ricky is survived by his daughters, Jonnette Parker and husband, Richard of Holly Springs, Melinda Hardee and husband, Scot Kirby of Morganton; grandchildren, Karen Wilson of Angier, Amber Simmons of Angier, Amelia Hardee of Valdese, Julia Parker of Holly Springs; great grandchildren, Chloe Simmons, Aaron Williams, Raeford Simmons and Paisley Black; sister-in-law, Jeanette Hardee.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his siblings, Joyce Mangum, Calvin R. Hardee, Jr., Billy Ray Hardee, and Judy Penny.
