John Albert Spadaro

John Spadaro of Raleigh, NC passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025. John was born on August 18, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Peter and Marie Spadaro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Spadaro and his granddaughter Veronica Baker.

He is survived by his daughter Laura Baker and her husband, Jim Baker; his son John and his wife, Jennifer; his grandchildren, Brian McGunnigle and his wife, Jessika; Marisa Snell and her husband, Alex Snell; Gianna Spadaro and Julia Spadaro; and his great-grandchildren Courtney, Richie, Dylan, Reese and Emma.

John proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy and had a passion for golf and cooking. Family was the center of John's life. Nothing brought him greater joy than time spent with loved ones. John's greatest pride was watching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, always cheering them on with love and encouragement. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and deep connection that will be cherished by generations to come.

A service to celebrate John's life will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Bryan Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Rd, Garner NC. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. A graveside service will immediately follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC.
