John Perlaki

John Damon Perlaki, 53, of Raleigh, passed away the morning of September 2, 2025 in

the company of his devoted mother and father. Born August 7, 1972, in Polk County,

Florida to John and Gail Perlaki (Bill and Gail), he was deeply loved from the day he

took his first breath.

In addition to his loving and devoted parents, John is survived by his sisters, Lisa

DeCosta and Rebecca McDine Mitchell; and his nieces, Lexi Mitchell and Megan

DeCosta; his long-time caregiver Shawnta McCree (Tay); and an abundance of

cousins.

Funeral services will be determined at a later date. The family asks that any flowers be

sent directly to their home in lieu of the funeral home.
