John Luther Norris, Sr.

ANGIER- John Luther Norris, Sr, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 7, 2011. He retired from Trailways where he worked both as a bus driver and supervisor.There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM Friday June 10, 2011 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Angier. John was preceded in death by his parents; James and Esther Barbour Norris; his wife; Juanita Hill Norris; a brother, Avant Norris and a sister, Lovenia Hamilton. He is survived by two daughters; Mary Pennington and husband Jay and Vonnie Norris Jamison and husband Mike, a son; John Norris, Jr and wife Tracey; seven sisters; Christine Norris, Ruth Beasley, Ruby Baker, Betty Norris, Katherine Searcy and husband Cecil, Janice Sais and husband Nick and Mary Owens and husband Ersel; three brothers; Aaron Norris, Shorty Norris and wife Lena and Robert Norris and wife Linda; seven grandchildren; David Norris, Johnna Norris, Shawn Jamison, Hunter Pennington, Caitlin Pennington, Meredith Norris and Caleb Norris; and three great-grandchildren; Alissa Jamison, Kahlan Grabowski and Makayla Norris, and multiple nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday night 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
