John Francis Logan

John Logan died shortly after celebrating his 90th birthday with many friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife Renee of almost 70 years. They had two daughters: Laura Friedman whose husband is Michael Friedman and their daughter Holly Friedman; Lisa Spadafino whose husband is John Spadafino, and their daughter Carolynn Vitullo whose husband is Max Vitullo, and their son Andrew Spadafino whose wife is Samantha Spadafino and their two beautiful daughters Penelope and Connie.

John grew up in the Bronx NY. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School and got his BS in Mechanical Engineering from City College of NYC. He worked for Melard Manufacturing and rose to Vice President of Manufacturing. After retiring he moved to the Raleigh Durham area of NC. He volunteered at Duke University's OLLI program, a senior citizen learning center teaching computer skills. Throughout his life, he enjoyed square dancing, photography, woodworking, painting, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
