John Hubert Crabtree

AN INCREDIBLE LIFE OF LOVE AND ADVENTURE

Garner – John passed away on, January 6, 2023, after a period of failing health at the age of 84. He was a past employee of TVA and retired from Carolina Power and Light. He served thirteen years in the US Air Force with two tours of duty in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Crabtree; son, Rev. John Crabtree and wife, Gayle of Mt. City, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Allie Caldora and husband, John, and Samantha Winter and husband, Kyle; great granddaughter, Brianna Winter; two sisters, Rhonda Midkiff and Brenda Brown.

John requested to be cremated and his ashes be scattered in the Great Smokey Mountains.
