Scott Davis, age 64, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on November 17, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 14, 1961, Scott lived life the way he watched his beloved Steelers - with passion, loyalty, and plenty of loud cheering.
Scott was known for his quick wit, his big heart, and his unwavering devotion to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, beach trips, and any gathering where laughter and good company were guaranteed. Scott served in the U.S. Air Force and was a proud graduate of the National Academy of Culinary Arts, sharing his love of cooking generously throughout his life.
He was a devoted husband, son, brother, grandfather, stepfather, uncle, and friend - someone whose presence brightened every room and whose warmth made moments unforgettable. Scott enjoyed his grandchildren, who brought tremendous joy into his life, and he embraced his stepchildren with genuine love and pride.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Davis; his siblings Kathleen Davis, Phyllis (Davis) Smith, and Mark Davis; and by multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom he held close to his heart.
He is also survived by his beloved stepchildren - Dan Campbell, Ben (Trish) Campbell, and Jessica (Wenghung) Kam - and by his treasured grandchildren: Christian Kam, Minnie Campbell, and Roland Campbell, who carry forward his joy, humor, and spirit.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. Davis and Mary E. (Daley) Davis; his brothers, William Daley Davis and Charles Weaver "Joe" Davis; his sister-in-law, Linda (Heritt) Davis; and his niece, Kimberly Davis.
A memorial service to celebrate Scott's life will be held on Saturday, November 22, at 10:00 AM at The Summit Church, 302 Capitol Hill Drive, Raleigh, NC.
In honor of Scott's lifelong love for animals and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Wake County,3901 Capitol Hill Drive, Raleigh, NC 27616.
