John Alton Ballard

ANGIER – John Alton Ballard, 84, of Angier died July 18 at Oak Hill Assisted Living Center. A native of Moore county, NC, John was the son of the late D.S. and Bessie Ballard. He was retired from Tobacco Growers in Fuquay Varina after many years of service. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his brother, Stedman Ballard, Jr. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington.
