Joel Michael Eason

Joel Michael (Mike) Eason, 73, of Angier, NC, entered eternal rest with our Lord and Savior surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. He was born in Wake County on August 11, 1952, to the late Lemuel (L.D.) and Nell Mabry Eason. He was married to the love of his life, Cathy Norris Eason, for 43 years. Mike was known for his strong Christian faith and love for his family and friends. He truly left a mark on everyone’s life that he touched and will be greatly missed by all that loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Eason.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Norris Eason; children, Joel Eason of Cary, Sarah Eason Brooks, Heather Clements (James), Wesley Eason, Jeremy Mitchell (Jolie) all of Fuquay Varina; grandchildren, Kyla Mitchell, Graeson Weaver, Logan Clements, Mia Clements, Carson Creech, and Xavier Brooks; great grandchildren, Delilah and Atticus Bain; sister, Wanda Stephenson of Angier; and brother, Mark Eason of Angier.

Visitation will be Monday, September 29th, at 10:00 AM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM in the Chapel officiated by Pastor Brandon Blair and Pastor Timmy Blair.
