Joe Russell Nipper, 67, died Saturday. He was the son of the late Joseph Junior “John Henry” Nipper and Dorothy Chappell Nipper. Funeral Service at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel Garner, Wednesday 1:00 PM. A private burial will be at Falls Community Cemetery. He was preceded in death by a brother John Paul Nipper. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Powell Nipper; daughters, Tracy Nipper Stewart and husband, Jeff, Meredith Nipper Radford and husband, Bert; son, Joey “J.R.” Nipper and wife, Starlynn; sister, Mary Cornwell and husband, Jim of Giles Co. VA; brother Wesley Nipper and wife, Belinda of Raleigh; grandchildren, Ashley Mentnech and husband, Kurt of Swansboro, Caelyn Nipper of Raleigh, Josie Stewart of Garner, Scott Stewart of Garner, Gavon Nipper of Raleigh, Curt Radford of Garner: great grandson, Kaiden Mentnech of Swansboro; niece, Amanda Hahnlen of Virginia; nephews, Jimmy Cornwell of Virginia and Christopher Prevatte on Raleigh. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Garner.
