Joann (Jones) Allamon

GARNER, NC - JoAnn (Jones) Allamon, 68, died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Discovery Church, Clayton. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Don “Skip” Allamon; sons, Mike Allamon, Jeff Allamon, his wife Tina and Steve Allamon, his wife Nikki, all of Garner, NC; her father, Arden Jones of Erie, PA; grandchildren, Austin, Lucas and Cassie, all of Garner, NC; brother, Jimmy Jones, wife Jeanne of Erie, PA, as well as an aunt, uncle, many cousins and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Jones. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, her church family, and baking her “Famous” chocolate chip cookies. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Discovery Church Youth Group, 5586 Covered Bridge Rd., Clayton, NC 27527.
